Following a car accident involving the Second Lady’s convoy, the wife of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Samira Bawumia, has died.
After the collision on Saturday in Ohene-Nkwata, near Nobewam, a village in the Ashanti Region’s Ejisu-Juaben Municipality, Samira is reportedly “doing well and unhurt.”
A Mercedes-Benz vehicle, a Sprinter-Benz bus, and two Toyota Land Cruisers collided in the multi-vehicle accident.

There were eight victims, according to sources; however, four of them had serious injuries.

It is also understood the deceased was with Samira’s entourage but is yet to be identified.
The convoy was heading to the Ashanti Region when the accident happened.
