A trader named Baidoo was allegedly stabbed by an attacker who is still unidentified. On Thursday, February 15, 2024, an incident occurred that shocked the town.
Following the incident, the deceased’s body was sent to the Police Hospital morgue for further inspection via autopsy and preservation.
On February 16, 2024, the Tema Regional Police Commander led a delegation to visit Eric Baidoo’s bereaved family to offer their sympathies following the tragedy. The police promised the family that they would conduct a thorough investigation and that they would stop at nothing to bring about justice.
The police said in a statement that was made public on Friday, February 16, 2024: “An intelligence-led operation is underway to get the perpetrator(s) arrested to face justice.”
