Cook-a-thon in Tamale: Faila Abdul Razak, in tears, accomplishes 100 hours and relies on her sous-chef for support

On January 1, Chef Failatu Abdul Razak set out to attempt a Guinness World Record in Tamale.

She has already served over a thousand plates to her guests and others in need on her fifth day in operation.

A video of the tired cook leaning against her sous chef has gone viral and sparked conversation among internet users.

Alan Fisher, an Irish chef, currently holds the record with 119 hours, 57 minutes, and 16 seconds.

The crowds of guests have been fed over a thousand meals by the Ghanaian cook as she continues her quest.
