Akufo-Addo sacks Ofori-Atta as Finance Minister

Ghanaians' calls for have finally been fulfilled by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who has announced a reshuffle of some ministers in his government. Many were surprised to learn that Ken Ofori-Atta had been removed from his position as Finance Minister by the President.

Likewise, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Minister of Information, moves to the Ministry of Housing, and Fatimatu Abubakar, his deputy, becomes the new Minister in charge.

Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye, former Ledzokuku member of parliament, becomes the Health Minister, and Henry Quartey moves to the Interior Ministry.

Approximately 13 ministers of state, 10 cabinet ministers, and 2 regional ministers have been affected by the recent reshuffle.
