Accra College of Education 3rd-year student caught with ‘stolen’ laptop, phones

Accra College of Education third-year student was caught by other students yesterday for reportedly snatching several cell phones and a laptop.

According to reports, the suspect broke into a student’s room while other people were at the school auditorium for a program. The suspect was arrested as a result of the student in the room acting swiftly.

unforeseen when his bags were checked, the suspect was discovered to be in possession of several flash drives, eight phones, and the stolen laptop.

After that, he was turned over to the police so they could continue their investigation.

This event extends to the disturbing trend of laptop theft on campus, as the school’s ICT lab has already seen a burglary of eight laptops.

@UTDErnesto also tweeted, “Incoming professional teacher. He wouldn’t mind stealing from the learners too”, stating his disappointment from the fact that the suspect would soon be a professional teacher.
