After accusing Adwo Kutremor, who was nursing their child, of being disloyal, Kwaku Siaw is charged with carrying out the crime at their Nkawkaw Krofoforom house.
When Kwaku Siaw’s parents inquired about Adwo Kutremor’s whereabouts, he pretended to be covering up his acts by telling them that she had departed for her mother’s house. But the child’s cries sparked suspicions, which led more inquiries and Kwaku Siaw’s departure from the area.
Kwaku Siaw went into hiding on Thursday but was eventually arrested at Akyem Asante Juaso with the assistance of Nkawkaw police, after he contacted his father to reveal his location.
During his caution statement, Kwaku Siaw confessed to committing the crime, citing his suspicion of Adwo Kutremor’s involvement with another man as the motive.
Kwaku Siaw is still being held by the police, and the case has been postponed until September 4, 2024, by the Mpraeso Circuit Court, which is presided over by Her Ladyship Adwoa Akyemaa.
