A student from St. John’s Grammar Senior High School has experienced an expected turn of events during a recent visit to Circle in Accra.
The student, who had gone to the busy area with the intention of upgrading his iPhone 7 to an iPhone XR, was left both stunned and stranded after falling victim to a scam.
The student tried to make a swap with his iPhone 7 and GHS 300 in the hopes of receiving a newer device, the iPhone XR.
However, instead of receiving the anticipated iPhone XR, he was handed a well-packaged tile. The incident has left the student in disbelief and without a functional phone.
